IsThisAPhoto is a free image checker that sends a selected photo to Sightengine for AI-image analysis and displays the returned probability score with a plain-English explanation. A result is an estimate, not a determination: it must not be treated as authentication, proof, or advice for financial, safety, identity, or other consequential decisions.

Use of the service

Use only images you have the right to access. The site accepts JPG, PNG, and WebP files up to 4 MB. Each IP address can make 10 checks per UTC calendar day, and the server enforces this limit. There is no public developer API or paid plan.
